Letter games in the hand and machine set
For over 500 years, letterpress printing was the dominant printing process. Terms such as Winkel haken, Schließeisen, Zurichtung, Jungfrau, Hurenkind, Leiche, Fisch and Zwiebelfisch were part of the everyday language used by the printers' guild. In the printing workshop, we give words weight and expression. We design and print with wooden and lead letters or use the Linotype typesetting machine.
