On May 22, the guided tour "The Baltic Sea - different from other seas" on the occasion of the "International Day of Biodiversity" focuses on the biological diversity of this inland sea and shows its multifaceted habitats.
As the largest brackish sea on earth, the Baltic Sea with its changing mixture of salt and fresh water presents the underwater world with special challenges. The exhibition and aquariums at the OZEANEUM trace the path through the Baltic Sea and along its coasts with their typical biocoenoses. Not only fish, invertebrates and algae of the Baltic Sea are highlighted, but also birds, mammals and plants of the Baltic Sea region.
Dates on May 22, 2024:
2 p.m. to 3 p.m.
3:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m.
Free tickets are available at the OZEANEUM ticket offices.
