Lecture on bats followed by an excursion to a winter roost
Bats are one of the animals to which people attributed magical powers early on due to their secretive and different way of life. No other animal species has been persecuted as much and been the subject of rumors as these secretive hunters of the night.
The nature park would like to dispel this superstition and explain something about bats in general, why we protect them and what bats are good for in a lecture at the nature park administration in Großen Luckow. Afterwards, you can experience the animals live in a nearby winter roost.
