Unfortunately, the event you have called is already in the past.
We cordially invite you to the event. We will be discussing the start of the new federal government and the international challenges with PD Dr. Frank Sauer (University of the Federal Armed Forces Munich) as part of a digital lunchtime talk.
Following the early federal elections on February 23, the CDU, CSU and SPD have agreed to form a new federal government. This coalition is based on the coalition agreement entitled "Responsibility for Germany". Against the backdrop of the tense geopolitical situation in the world, the new federal government will immediately face foreign policy challenges. In Europe in particular, there is a longing for a strong German role in the face of punitive tariffs and transatlantic alienation from the USA under Donald Trump, as well as the situation in Ukraine. What priorities is the new German government setting in a tense geopolitical situation? What role does the new financial leeway outside of the debt brake play in upgrading the Bundeswehr?
You will receive the access link to the event after registration - see link.
