Musical by -thilo Wolf and Ewald Arens

German-American couple Anna and Mike have just moved to New York. Mike, a former rock guitarist, wants to make it as a successful banker. Anna dreams of a career as a DJ. While Mike is quickly absorbed in a world of performance and self-optimization, Anna receives one rejection after another. While wandering through the city one day, she stumbles into the record store of the mysterious Doris. Through a secret door, Anna enters New York's Swing Street of the 1930s... The pulsating life of this bygone era and the laid-back tap dancer Pete increasingly cast a spell over her. Mike realizes far too late that he is about to lose his wife forever. Musically, a journey through time is presented, from the urban music of today to the swing world of great compositions from New York in the past.

"A completely new piece that sparkles with joie de vivre. A mix of old swing and modern sound." (frankenfernsehen.tv)

By Thilo Wolf (idea, music) and Ewald Arenz (book, lyrics)
