The ABERLOUR'S are one of the few Celtic Rock bands from Germany today that have reached an international level - and shine in the folk field as well as at metal festivals like Wacken or medieval events like the Mediaval Selb. Rare acoustic instruments like cittern and mandocello meet thunderous grooves, melodic vocal lines complement each other with furious fiddle and accordion parts to form a magical body of work. The creative output of the band blurs the boundaries of the genre - Irish folk sometimes turns into Bavarian folk, Scottish lyricism drifts into Middle German verse.
