Land in sight at last", says and sings the Ossenkopp duo when they return home from their gigs. Sometimes, however, they provoke with the exact opposite when they claim "Platt starft ut"! More importantly, however, the duo have been working hard since 1992 to ensure that the language is not forgotten. Dietmar Schmidt, a native of the beautiful Island of Usedom, and Martin Korn, a native of Wismar, also live the new connection between Pomerania and Mecklenburg on stage, or the other way around. Both appreciate the old Low German songs, but of course they also use many of their own texts for their programs. In them, they talk about their childhood, about the "Grotmudder", where they had Tollatsch and Klüddersupp.
