Around the nationwide day of action on May 4, 2024, cities and municipalities invite all interested citizens to celebrate the successes of urban development promotion together, to find out about current plans and to actively participate in them. The Day of Urban Development Promotion is a joint initiative of the federal government, the federal states, the German Association of Cities and Towns and the German Association of Towns and Municipalities.

Architectural tours with Norbert Ertner + construction site tour of the town wall
On May 4, building fences and doors will open for 3 events that will provide an insight into urban development projects that have not been in the spotlight until now.
As the Urban Development Day was only launched long after the Zebef multi-generation house and the Natureum were completed, the old projects will take center stage this year.
The Ludwigslust urban redevelopers cordially invite you to two architectural tours with Norbert Ertner to take a fresh look at old projects and find out together to what extent redevelopment concepts, planning and construction ideas, choice of materials etc. have stood the test of time in everyday life.
The day will kick off with a tour of the construction site at the city wall construction site on Schlachthofweg. Together with Jörg Hintze from the construction company carrying out the work, you can take a look at the first sections of the new city wall and talk shop with Tadesse Tamrat about the technical innovations that are invisibly hidden inside the city wall.
