Contemporary Sculptures- Figurative lime wood figures and gas concrete sculptures

The artist stEFFI SCHNEEkluth works with the medium of wood and aerated concrete. The carved lime wood figures are miniature representations of women and men. The focus is on the representation of women in all their facets. Fashion as an expression of her personality is emphasized by the colourful design of the outfit and makes the unique impression of the figure visible. It is about the exact, detailed reproduction of the human body. Figures have also been created to represent a Victoria Secret model in lingerie or "The man in the pink tutu" (breast cancer initiative). Various themes relating to women, stories and encounters are the impetus and motivation for the creation of the wooden figures. The series of oversized "donuts" created from aerated concrete is about the fact that no one can get enough of a donut in the figurative sense. The sugary baked goods in a sick society are tempting to look at and yet you would gnaw your teeth out on them.
