In keeping with autumn and the dark days at the beginning of November, the Alte Weberei Ahrenshoop presents an evening of songs and duets with a wide emotional and musical range on Friday. Schumann opens with the motto "The leaves are falling from the trees ..." and leads us with stylistic confidence through Brahms' serious songs to the dramatic power of Dvorák's Biblical Songs, congenially accompanied by Edgar Sheridan-braun.
