Guided Tours & Tours, Nature

With 44 breeding pairs, the Island of Rügen is one of the largest breeding areas for white-tailed eagles in Germany. On my tour, you can observe the majestic birds in their natural habitat and, with luck, photograph them. Let yourself be enchanted by the breathtaking scenery.

On my popular white-tailed eagle tour, we go on a journey to an enchanted place that could not be better described as the habitat of the white-tailed eagle.

Calm waters, no human disturbance and a forest where the mighty eyrie was built are essential for the survival of the white-tailed eagle.

To see the white-tailed eagle with a wingspan of up to 2.60 meters circling above us like a plank, amazes many people. It is not uncommon for two or more sea eagles to circle in the air at the same time and watch our every move as we behave in their territory. It is interesting to see how the sea eagle flushes out countless ducks and geese.

Depending on the season, other animals can also be observed by us.
Regular guests are: Osprey, roe deer, wild boar, great white egret, red-backed shrike, crane, fox, lapwing, various duck species, marsh harrier, red kite, common tern, chiffchaff, whitethroat and many other species.

Important: Experience the sea eagles from a safe distance - with a flight distance of 200 to 300 meters we protect their peace and quiet and we can observe the sea eagles without disturbing them.

Price per person 25€, persons under 18 years pay 10€.
