Mongolian steppe meets Persian Orient

The master singers Nasaa Nasanjargal and Naraa Naranbaatar, who were trained in their native Mongolia, and the virtuoso dulcimer player Ganzorig Davaakhuu, together with the Iranian multi-instrumentalist Omid Bahadori, whisk you away to an exotic world between the Orient and the Mongolian steppe.

The name of the group "Sedaa" comes from the Persian and means "voice", as vocal techniques such as overtone or throat singing play a central role in their music. Together with the wistful sounds of the horse-headed violin, the pearly tones of the 120-stringed dulcimer and the pulsating oriental drum rhythms, they merge into a mystical melange of vibrations and moods.

The quartet wowed audiences in the sold-out Old Synagogue in Hagenow in April 2018 and September 2019.

Tickets for the concert in the Old Synagogue are available in advance from Hagenow-Information, Lange Straße 79, 19230 Hagenow, 03883/729096, e-mail: hagenow-info@hagenow.de. Tickets ordered in advance and paid for by bank transfer can be collected at the box office.
