In 1987, the painter Ursula Thielke had her first exhibition at Dömitz Fortress. 36 years later, she looks back on her work with an exhibition. It will probably be the last exhibition of the passionate painter.
In the gallery of the Hauptwache are shown drawings and paintings, represented with charcoal, pastels, acrylic and oil on the theme of "Our World", the theme that has accompanied the entire work of the artist. As comprehensive as this theme, is also the content of the exhibition. Ursula Thielke's paintings depict people, animals, flowers and landscapes, excerpts from the broad diversity of our lives. A special preference of the artist has always been the depiction of people.
The exhibition can be visited from March 18 to June 11, 2023 during the opening hours of the museum.
