Opening concert in the Dambeck church ruins

After 10 years of work by the association "Kirchenruine Dambeck e.V.", we have now managed to save the Dambeck church ruins from decay and make them safe to visit again. This was only possible thanks to the support of the EU, federal and state politicians, the municipalities of Bütow and Leizen, the church district of Mecklenburg Strelitz, the State Office for Culture and Monument Preservation, the many construction companies involved, the many donors and, last but not least, the members of the association. We managed to organize a total of €364,000 to preserve this unique and historically valuable building. This required three construction phases between 2019 and 2023, and everyone can now see the results for themselves on site and follow the progress on the association's website www.kirchenruine-dambeck.de. We as a sponsoring association were able to contribute €27,500 from donations. Together with the parish of Massow, the association would now like to celebrate this success and the 10th anniversary of the association in a fitting manner.They play Celtic harp and alphorn at the same time and also have great voices, taking the audience on a journey through time. They play historical music as well as their own compositions inspired by nature - but always in their very own way. Let yourself be surprised!

Admission to this concert is free, thanks to the support of the Ehrenamtsstiftung MV.

After the concert, the association will ask for a donation for further activities and there will be a small snack. In case of bad weather, the concert will take place in the Minzow village church. We cordially invite you to this special event!
