As a token of appreciation for you, the people who make our city and the surrounding area so vibrant. The MS Seestern is on its way and the destination is the beautiful island of Hiddensee. If you've been wanting to get out and about for a while, now is the perfect opportunity, with no fuss, no advance booking and at half price.
Departure is at 9 a.m. directly from the port in Barth. The return trip from the island departs at 4 pm from the port in Neuendorf. The journey takes around three hours, so there is plenty of time to sit back and relax, enjoy the view, breathe in the fresh air or simply let your mind wander on deck. Catering is taken care of: there are gastronomic offerings on board - from coffee to cold drinks, so nobody has to go hungry or thirsty on the long journey. If you want to take your bike with you, you can easily do so, as this is also possible on the Seestern.
All locals pay just 16 euros for a return trip on this day - instead of the regular 32 euros. Children up to the age of 12 can travel for as little as 11 euros - instead of the usual 22 euros - and payment is made directly on board. You don't need a reservation or an online form, just come along, buy your ticket on board and off you go.
Once on Hiddensee, you can enjoy a free day to suit your taste - whether you want to enjoy nature, go for a walk on the beach or simply let yourself drift away is entirely up to you.
