A lecture with nature guide René Geyer.
Forest - a habitat that has so many colors, scents, sounds and life forms that you can only wonder! There is much to discover in the four seasons: always new, interesting and surprising. Spring shines in the bright May green of the trees. The early bloomers cover the forest floor with a cheerful carpet of blossoms. Above them, old tree shapes captivate everyone. In the branches you can hear the chirping and calling of forest birds and suddenly the black woodpecker "hammers" from a distance. Summer in the forest is always pleasantly cool and in the clearings many a rare butterfly flutters around the blossoms of wild berries and herbs. Colorful, small but magnificent beetles climb around on the ground and on low bushes. After the late summer, when autumn magically colors the leaves, the magnificent, richly shaped, colorful world of mushrooms appears among the mosses, on stones and old, overturned giant trees. But the proverbial silence of the forest is experienced after the first snowfall, when the trees - adorned with snow on their branches - stand frozen in the bone-chilling cold. Now the attentive forest visitor also meets the shy roebuck at the edge of the forest.
