"Through dream and time"
neo-classical and romantic music for guitar THROUGH DREAM AND TIME
Stefan Grasse developed his current program in the context of the events of our time. Crises and upheavals awaken a longing for security and an ideal world. This makes music all the more important and effective in providing emotional protection and inner balance. This pausing and contemplation has always inspired romantic art and music. Evening mood and moonlight are motifs on the threshold between reality and dream. A twilight, intangible state in which our ego comes to rest.
Stefan Grasse plays romantic music that enchants and enraptures us. He performs his own neo-classical compositions and selected works by Tárrega, Beethoven, Chopin and Satie.
The internationally acclaimed and award-winning guitarist promises a concert experience reminiscent of a quiet summer evening on the seashore, with floating tones that play like the pastel light of the setting sun against the transparent blue of the sky. A serenade of dusk, through dream and time.
The guitarist and composer Stefan Grasse has gained an excellent reputation in the German and international music scene with over 3000 performances over many years. He studied jazz and classical guitar with Peter O'Mara (Jazz School Munich), Kurt Hiesl (Meistersinger Conservatory Nuremberg), Phillip Thorne (Royal Scottish Academy of Music and Drama, Glasgow) and Pepe Romero (International Summer Academy Salzburg). Since 1993, Stefan Grasse has released 21 albums under his own name. In addition to his work as a concert guitarist and composer, Stefan Grasse is the artistic director of various concert series. www.stefan-grasse.de
