FerienGut Dalwitz in the parking lot is a huge adventure playground, and not just for the little ones: Where else can guests feel like real cowboys and help drive the cattle in and around on horseback?
For the less experienced, genuine South American Criollo horses are available on the estate for gaucho-style western riding. Lovingly renovated and decorated in a country house style, the furnishings reflect the handwriting of the lady of the manor, Lucy von Bassewitz, and her Uruguayan origins; a touch of "estancia" exudes South American flair in the bright and individually furnished vacation apartments. The atmosphere at FerienGut Dalwitz is uncomplicated and informal. Particularly popular is the "Asado", the barbecue that takes place in summer when the weather is good, which Lucy von Bassewitz also brought with her from her home country to Mecklenburg. Another meeting place is the "Remise", the farm restaurant in the old stables. Dalwitz Estate is a full-time agricultural business. Farming and livestock breeding are not a vacation backdrop, but the focus of an ecological and sustainable economic system.
Program:
1-6 p.m.: Guided tours of the farm, tour of parts of the manor house
1-6 p.m.: Game sausages from the grill
1-6 p.m.: Coffee and cake
