The painter Friedrich August von Klinkowström, a companion of Caspar David Friedrich, was born at Ludwigsburg Palace in August 1778. To mark his birthday, the association organizes an annual "Klinkowström Day" on the castle and estate grounds. Each year has a specific motto. In keeping with the 250th birthday of "CDF", everything will revolve around "Caspar David Friedrich and Klinkowström" on August 30, 2024. A guided tour, lectures, a reading and a theater performance on this theme await you at an original location of North German Romanticism. Food and drink will be provided!
