Reading & Discussion | Moderation: Ulrika Rinke (Literaturhaus Rostock)
Muse, secretary, wife: there are many names for women whose influence has been erased from history. Female scientists whose achievements were not recognized in contrast to those of their male colleagues. Female authors who hid behind male pseudonyms. Female artists who have been forgotten in the shadow of their husbands. Historian Leonie Schöler tells their stories in a lively and entertaining way and shows women who have advanced our society to this day. Schöler illustrates how important the discussion about participation and visibility is - and not just in retrospect.
