Lecture at the Nature Park Center

Lecture series 2024 in the Sternberg Lake District Nature Park

On Thursday, September 12, 2024, the Sternberg Lake District Nature Park will continue this year's lecture series after the summer break. This time, under the title "Natural gardening and fertilizing", we will take you on a tour of the home and allotment garden.

The speaker this evening is Clemens Thiele. He is a horticultural engineer and florist and has been cultivating parts of the former Syringa nursery in Warin for 9 years in a combination of kitchen garden and natural garden. The habitat design and use of the garden as a feel-good space for all living creatures plays a role in this. He sees the garden from a slightly different perspective and will discuss the influence and interaction of nutrients, water, light, air, soil and temperature in his lecture. It is important to know what conditions plants need under certain circumstances to grow together. If everything goes according to plan, humans as well as plants, small animals and insects will benefit.

In his limited free time, Clemens Thiele works as a certified nature and landscape guide and offers guided nature tours for guests and school classes.
