Lecture & Science, Nature

A lecture on bats - lifestyle and biology

On Thursday, May 16, 2024, the Sternberg Lake District Nature Park will continue this year's lecture series. This time the title is "Bats - lifestyle and biology".

The speaker on this evening is Martin Post-Stapelfeld. He has been studying bats for many years. In his presentation, he will introduce the different species of bats and also discuss the results of monitoring in the Sternberg Lake District Nature Park. It is well known that there are many scary stories about bats, so perhaps the lecture can help to dispel these prejudices and untruths.

The nature park cordially invites you to this interesting lecture with many beautiful photos of different bats. The Friends of our Nature Park will be offering drinks at cost price before and during the lecture. Admission is free, registration is not required, but would make planning easier.
