"More light"
In addition to some new sculptures and paintings, on Pentecost Sunday the rooms of Hotel Raketa and thus its "inhabitants" will be restaged by light. The previous inhabitants remain, of course. Thus, there will be a different view into the rooms, they will be partially darkened and illuminated. Likewise, there will be a different sound installation.
Hotel Raketa is an art installation by sculptor Uwe Schloen in the western annex at Kummerow Castle. An installation with over 300 human figures and wooden sculptures combined into groups and scenes. Since 2019, the artist has redesigned the setting of the permanent exhibition every year at Pentecost.
Saturday, May 27:
- During the construction phase, the rooms can be visited.
Sunday, May 28:
- Main exhibition day with concert by Heinz-Erich-Gödecke (modules and trombone) at 4 p.m., free admission.
