Our world is drowning in plastic!
Play by Jens Raschke for children aged 7 and over
Petty Einweg sees the neon light of day in a spacious drinks crate. Soon she is off on a long journey. Excited about her next destination, she soon finds herself among millions of other empty bottles on a garbage tip. Then Petty is washed into the sea and swallowed by a whale.
While plastic was initially praised as a miracle material, the question now is what to do with it. Today it can be found everywhere: tons of it in the oceans, in the stomachs of fish and even microscopically small in our food.
The world is full of plastic and life without it seems almost unimaginable. But how do we deal with it? And don't we need it too?
