Günter Bauer's stage collage of the diaries, letters and narrative works shows the writer Franz Kafka's view of the world and his life using his very own means: the Kafkaesque.

Stages of a dramatic biography pass by the viewer: Cornelia Gutermann-Bauer, in the role of Franz Kafka, shows episodes of a life drama that is not so far removed from the usual. But the person speaking is the most important writer of the 20th century! He explores the central problems of modern man with exemplary universality. The recurring motifs of self-doubt are contrasted with texts of wit and irony that are more than just glimmers of hope.
