The Zarrentin Cultural Association invites you to a baroque concert evening with Hachidai Saito and Alexander Puliaev in the Zarrentin Monastery.
Baroque music is a style characterized by ornate ornamentation, powerful dynamics, ornate embellishments and monumental expression. Alongside Johann Sebastian Bach, it was influenced by such renowned composers as Antonio Vivaldi, Georg Friedrich Händel and Georg Philip Telemann. Today, Bach's music is regarded as the pinnacle and perfection of Baroque music, creating a unique musical language with its emotionality and dynamics.
Hachidai Saito, born in Sendai, Japan, received his first violin lessons at the age of five. Alexander Puliaev was born in St. Petersburg. He received his first piano lessons at the age of six. Hachidai Saito and Alexander Puliaev are a virtuoso duo of violin and harpsichord. The interpretations of both artists are based on a deep respect for the historical way of playing in order to honor the authentic musical language of past times. They interpret baroque music in an appreciative yet innovative way, unfolding its true magic and meaning and giving the listener an extraordinary musical experience.
The program includes a selection of Bach's masterpieces as well as a tribute to important contemporaries of his era. The auditorium will experience musical gems full of passion, splendor and spirituality. The Zarrentiner Kulturverein is delighted to welcome you to this unique concert evening. Let yourself be carried away by the music and celebrate with us "UNA FESTA BAROCCA", a baroque festival. Experience the Baroque period in all its diversity and beauty in the time-honored ambience of the refectory.
