As part of our excursion on the southern border with Brandenburg, we will take you along the flanks of the Randow Valley to the Grünzer Berge.
We would like to take you to the sites of the Siberian bellflower, a species that is widespread in south-eastern Europe but is very rare in our latitudes and then mainly on warm slopes with dry grassland.
The interesting history of the use of this area gave rise to the project for the restoration of continental dry grasslands and the creation of old land uses. The aim of this project is to preserve and develop open land habitat types as key components of the area. The Siberian bellflower finds its westernmost habitats there.
