Discovery tour: The "Galenbecker See" nature reserve is one of the oldest nature reserves in Germany and is known as an internationally important crane resting place.
In October, numerous "lucky birds" stop off in Mecklenburg-Vorpommern before continuing their flight south. Join us at Lake Galenbeck to watch the cranes approach.
Procedure: At the meeting point, we will introduce the project and the surrounding area and tell you lots of interesting facts about the cranes. We continue by car to the observation tower near Heinrichswalde on the eastern shore of the lake, where we can observe the cranes in their roosting place if conditions are good. Here you are very close to the sleeping cranes, about 200 meters.
Registration is requested, either by telephone on 0385/760 9995 or by e-mail to info@stun-mv.de.
