Three power women from Scotland: The violinists Laura Jane Wilkie and Eryn Rae have developed a rousing sound with the guitarist and singer, which they bring to the stage with energy and enthusiasm.

Three top musicians from Glasgow are coming to Hagenow on Friday, February 21, 2025. At 8 pm, this unique collaboration of young, accomplished musicians will perform in the Old Synagogue, presenting traditional melodies and songs as well as contemporary compositions from Scotland. Guitarist and singer Anna Massie has become an integral part of the European scene. She has also made a name for herself as a producer and radio presenter. With her powerful, rhythmic style, she accompanies many well-known bands such as Rant or the Blazinʼ Fiddles.

With Laura Jane Wilkie and Erin Rae, she has two versatile fiddlers at her side. Wilkie comes from the Highlands and is at home in a variety of styles. Her debut CD was nominated for Album of the Year at the Scots Trad Music Awards. Rae, on the other hand, has her roots in the Scottish Borders and can call herself a BBC Radio Scotland 2022 up-and-coming musician. Her playing combines influences from the North East of Scotland, Shetland, Ireland and Scandinavia. As the Glasgow Fiddle Collective, the trio has developed a captivating, multi-faceted sound. Their joy of playing is infectious!
