"...what was still missing" - works by Johann Sebastian Bach. KMD Christoph D. Minke at the historic Winzer organ from 1847
In 2024, the Schönberg Music Summer will continue its "Friday Organ" series and will not only present the instruments of Schönberg's St. Laurentius Church, but also an organist of the younger and youngest generation, after the opening concert and the 1st "Friday Organ", in which the long-time in-house organist KMD Christoph D. Minke performed compositions from Bach's "Clavierübung III. Theil". The title "...what was still missing" alludes to the fact that Bach presented one large and one small arrangement of each of the selected chants. The cycle is therefore rarely performed as a whole; usually a selection is made. And then a few pieces remain...
