Franziska Troegner was born in Berlin in 1954 and was a member of the Berliner Ensemble for 18 years. She has been working freelance since 1993 and has appeared in around 100 television and cinema films and over 500 radio plays, including the American film production "Charlie and the Chocolate Factory" with Johnny Depp.
