It's no secret that barn swallows can fly very far. But that they take shelter from sandstorms in old fuel drums on their way across the Sahara, that aerial plankton is their favorite food and that they have strings of lights on their bodies? All this and more: on April 12 in Dömitz.
At these entertaining information events, Fräulein Brehm aka Barbara Geiger will take you on a one-hour journey into the realm of barn swallows. Afterwards, you will learn interesting facts about practical protective measures for barn swallows and house martins. We are delighted that the contact person for swallows at NABU Lüchow-Dannenberg, Irene Timm, will be available to answer questions.
