Moderated school concert with the wind quintet of the Neubrandenburg Philharmonic Orchestra

School concert
For all ages 4 and up
Duration: approx. 45 minutes

Who doesn't know the fairy tale of "Hansel and Gretel"; about the two siblings whose stepmother sent them alone into the forest to collect berries? There, the children get lost and arrive at a witch's cottage made of candy. But woe betide anyone who eats it!
The composer Engelbert Humperdinck turned this fairy tale into a wonderful, late romantic opera that still delights young and old today. In an arrangement by Helen Mills based on Humperdinck's opera of the same name, the wind quintet of the Neubrandenburg Philharmonic Orchestra will perform. The school concert will be presented by the singer Alexander Mildner.
