Fair breakfast on the occasion of "11 years Fairtrade City Schwerin" and "33 years Weltladen Schwerin"

As part of the annual "Fair Week", which is accompanied by numerous events throughout Germany, the State capital Schwerin, the action group Eine Welt e.V. Schwerin and the "Löwe Schwerin" day bar are inviting you to the third "Fair Breakfast". From 10:45 a.m. to 1 p.m., visitors can sample a delicious, free buffet with all kinds of fair trade products directly in front of the pillar building on the old town market square. For example, there will be organic bread rolls, fair trade spreads, tasty fair trade orange juice and fair trade coffee.

City President Sebastian Ehlers and association director Annika Rhinow will officially open the Fair Breakfast at 10:45 am.

Schwerin has been certified as a "Fairtrade City" for 11 years. The Weltladen, which is based in Puschkinstraße and sells a wide range of Fairtrade products and food, is also celebrating its 33rd birthday since it was founded in 1991. The Fair Breakfast will also be a celebration of this.

Accompanied by live music on the musikklub stage, the Weltladen, NABU MV, the Friends of Oikocredit North Germany and the unpackaged store FKK will be providing information about their concerns at their own stands. There will also be hands-on activities for young and old, including a quiz wheel and a Sudoku with fairly traded products.
