Invitation to a fair picnic on the cathedral square
Through a joint commitment to fair trade locally, Güstrow is setting an example for a fairer world as a Fairtrade town and making an important contribution to improving the living conditions of disadvantaged producer groups in the global South.
In this context, the steering group cordially invites you to a Fair Picnic on July 13, 2024 from 14:00 - 18:00, true to the motto "Fair - Regional - Sustainable".
Together with actors such as the world stores of other cities, suppliers of fair products, the Wildpark MV, the Original Güstrow Kniesenack e.V., the Güstrow Beekeepers' Association, the Güstrow public utility company with a water counter and regional suppliers of delicious bread, cheese, cakes and much more, guests can get information, chat and enjoy a fair picnic in a relaxed atmosphere.
You are welcome to bring everything you need for a good picnic, such as crockery/cutlery and a blanket, in order to produce as little waste as possible. What is missing will be offered for sale regionally and fairly. This leaves plenty of time for the family - for networking or simply relaxing with music, activities and hopefully sunny weather.
