In this program you will experience Ihno Tjark Folkerts in a double function, on the one hand as violinist and on the other hand as reciter. Works for violin solo by J. S. Bach and G. Ph. Telemann as well as music arranged by Folkerts by J. Massenet, A. Dvorak, W. A. Mozart and P. Tchaikovsky meet a cycle of poems from 1954: Erich Kästner's congenial "Die Dreizehn Monate". Kästner's work, which is sometimes cheerful, sometimes filled with quiet melancholy, is made even more intense by classical music (which takes up or contrasts with the respective mood of the poems) and merges with it to form an impressive whole. During the concert break, there will also be the opportunity to talk to the performer over a glass of sparkling wine or wine - a delightful literary-musical evening!
