Visitors to the Ludorf manor house, one of the oldest manor houses in the Müritz region (built in 1698), during the Schlösserherbst will be in for a treat. The baroque house with hotel and restaurant is surrounded by picturesque nature, which shows its best side with vibrant colors in autumn. During this time, it also becomes the stage for a natural spectacle in a class of its own when thousands of cranes take a rest on the banks of the Müritz. On Wednesdays and Saturdays, there are organized walks with an ornithologist to the cranes' roosting site, followed by dinner in the restaurant.
