Kotelmann Festival 2019

The Kotelmann Festival in Altentreptow is a celebration for the whole family. With sports, games and lots of fun, it has been celebrated since 1830 in honor of Martin Kotelmann on the grounds of the Klosterberg. This is an extensive natural area in the middle of the city, which invites you to stroll and linger. Here is also the largest erratic boulder on the German mainland. After the festival was celebrated in 1939, the last time, it is officially celebrated again since 2018.

The prelude to this year's event will be a dance event with the group " AToll" on the festival lawn on 13.7. at 18 clock. On Sunday the 14.7. the day begins at 10 o'clock with the appearance of the saxophone quartet "SA(X)VIER" from Neubrandenburg on the stage of the festival meadow. As a highlight this year, in addition to the well-known crossbow shooting, a balloon on the crane will allow the view into the distance from 1 pm. In addition to a flea market and various booths, the fire department and the animal shelter will participate in the diverse program, along with the sports clubs of the region.
