The band name is a promise.
Matthias Ehrig (acoustic guitar, electric guitar, stompbox) and Andreas Uhlmann (trombone, flugelhorn, glockenspiel, beatbox, synthesizer) are "Mehr Als Wir". Using loop techniques and sophisticated arrangements, the two musicians create an unexpectedly full band sound. Stylistically, "Mehr Als Wir" realize a mixture of pop, jazz, EDM and acoustic world music. Despite various detours into the seriousness of life, the band's music is simply a joy. The pieces are full of twists and surprises. Like pictures on photographic paper in a darkroom, their songs evolve - to stay.
"Mehr Als Wir" make instrumental music. Not without telling and acoustically painting the stories underlying the pieces - some of them opulent - at their concerts.
