Children's and youth choirs from all over the country meet to sing together in Teterow. Workshops and a regional market round off the choir festival.
After a break of several years, the Mecklenburg-Vorpommern Choir Association is finally organizing the Children's and Youth Choir Day again. On June 1, 2024, International Children's Day, children's and youth choirs from all over the state will come together to sing together. After singing together on the market square, the young singers will present a small selection of their repertoire in up to 5 sound spaces in the city of Teterow. During the lunch break that follows, singers and the audience can enjoy refreshments from regional vendors on the market square. Associations and exhibitors will also be there to provide information about choral life. Afterwards, the vocalists and their choir leaders can take part in workshops. After further concerts, the day ends with a final sing-along on the market square.
