Market & Festival, Outdoor Activity

The castle festival will take place on 05.05.24 from 12-18 hrs at Turow moated castle. There will be market stalls from artisans and with regional specialties, a flea market, archery, straw bale jumping and pony rides, hearty treats and a café in the castle. With handmade music by Markus Kilian and the Irmer family.

The historic, almost 800-year-old moated castle of Turow is located in the natural treasure trove of Vorpommern-Rügen. Away from the main roads, enclosed in four hectares of parkland and surrounded by extensive green spaces, forests and ancient trees, you can discover history and celebrate in a relaxed atmosphere. The non-profit association is organizing its 2nd castle festival and is once again looking forward to welcoming numerous visitors. There is something for everyone: you can buy fine arts and crafts, regional specialties or good second-hand items at the flea market. Food and drink will be provided and the castle café will be waiting with delicious cakes.

Archery, pony rides and a straw bale bouncy castle provide variety and entertainment. And there will be handmade music by Markus Kilian and the Irmer family around a campfire and in a good mood.

The historic manor with castle and the rustic granary in the farmyard provide the setting for the festival and the blue castle chapel with its murals can also be visited. This is an ideal meeting place for the whole family and the green oasis is the perfect place to enjoy time together.
