Wednesday evening guided tour of the castle, chapel and mausoleum
Every Wednesday from June 26 to August 28, 2024, the Förderverein, in cooperation with the Protestant parish of Kemnitz, will be offering guided tours of three sights in the village of Ludwigsburg.
We start with the former castle of the Pomeranian dukes, which was also an original setting for North German Romanticism, as the painter Friedrich August von Klinkowström - a companion of Caspar David Friedrich - was born here in 1778. Other stops on our tour include the patron saint's church (castle chapel) and Weissenborn's mausoleum.
The discovery tour starts at 6 p.m. in the castle courtyard in front of the granary building and lasts approx. 90 minutes. Admission is free - donations for the benefit of the Friends' Association and the castle chapel are requested. Registration is not required.
