Roger Willemsen tells a tragicomic story of Job in the finest manner:

Mr. Hopp is a man well-disposed towards all the world. He has a small circus on the outskirts of town with animals, artists, clowns and a funny parrot. Every morning he takes his dromedary for a walk, and every morning he meets Mr. Gottlieb. He is a curmudgeon whose favorite pastime is to spoil the good mood of others: his wife Margarete, his daughter Viola and also the kind-hearted Mr. Hopp.....
