A colorful vacation activity day at the Müritzeum for children aged 6 and over
Butterflies are not as delicate as they seem: there is a hard core to these fluttering creatures. Some of them cross entire continents, others survive freezing cold winters and there are even butterflies that use ants as babysitters.
But not only the well-known butterflies belong to the butterflies. The closely related moths are the beauties of the night and actually make up 95% of our native butterfly species. They are not just "moths", but are very important for pollinating plants and have quite amazing things to offer.
On this day, we will delve into the secret world of these fascinating insects.
