From annoying to adorable - lecture on urban pigeons
City pigeons are part of the cityscape in many places. In their plain, gray plumage, they blend in well with the urban environment - and often go unnoticed. They usually only come into view when problems arise, for example when the balcony is soiled with droppings or there is suddenly a nest there.
But there is another way. In the lecture "Pigeons - from annoying to adorable. The underestimated city dwellers", expert speaker Jacqueline Maslo takes a new and surprising look at the life of urban pigeons. She not only sheds light on their behavior and way of life, but also shows ways in which conflicts with the animals can be resolved peacefully and sustainably. She also introduces the volunteer project "Neubrandengurr", which cares for injured urban pigeons.
