Blue Wave Festival - PINK PIANO - Txako Jones and the Crew

Jones and the Crew is an international line-up from Spain,
Mozambique and Germany around the singer Txako Jones from
Sevilla! Txako found her way to the blues via a few detours. In the
1990s, she started out in the metal scene before discovering her blue soul via
rock, Motown, funk and jazz.
She toured throughout Spain with "Blues de Bellota". She later worked in London with various artists and the band "Big Girl Blues Band". In Spain, Txako began working as a singing teacher in her own studio
and as a backing singer. She met Jan Hirte at a festival in Spain and in 2022 the
two decided to work together.
The right colleagues were quickly found. Matthias Falkenau
on Hammond and piano is a long-time companion of
Jan Hirte and with Carlos Dalelane on drums, the right
"groove guru" was on board.
