It's blues time: musicians from the international blues scene will be visiting Binz this year from 6 to 9 June for the multi-award-winning Blue Wave Festival Binz. Plucking, drumming and singing in many places will make New Orleans pale with envy.
The "Pink Piano" concerts on the Kurplatz are a special highlight.

Virginia and Skybenders (SWE)
Virginia & Skybenders won the Scandinavian Blues Contest in 2014. The jury praised the band's empathy, expressive music and charismatic frontwoman Virginia Pihlblad. Her musical journey began as a child. When she was about 20, Virginia went to Harlem, New York, to listen to the music and musicians that influenced her. Her voice: powerful, sensitive, capable of heavy blues, funky soul and reggae. Experts even speak of a "reincarnation of Janis Joplin and Etta James". Välkommen till Blue Wave Bluesfestivalen.
