Ivonne Fechner and Bodo Kommnick are studio and live experienced musicians. They are known from concerts with Lift, ELO - Phil Bates, Deine Lakaien, Anna Depenbusch, City and Ray Wilson - Genesis Klassik, among others. In addition, they produce in the studio for many artists, such as Adel Tavil, Ich&Ich, Silbermond, the Prinzen, Jeanette Biedermann, Karat, Udo Jürgens, Hape Kerkeling and many others.

With BLACKBIRD they now bring together their own ideas, creativity and skills and surprise live with wonderful songs of emotional intensity.

They cast a spell on the audience when they leave their songs very small, accompanied only by guitar and violin, only to take them on a journey to far away, fantastic mystical spheres and sound worlds between melancholy and hope in other songs.

In their songs they tell of the hope to know a lost person, after his final departure, in a beautiful place, of the different facets of love in happiness and pain, of the coldness of our society and the longing for values and dignity.
