Fellow Lecture by Dr. Marlene Meuer (Fellow of the Alfried Krupp Wissenschaftskolleg Greifswald)
Every media revolution creates new possibilities for artistic expression, changing art forms and genres and giving rise to new ones. In this process, concepts of literature and notions of the literary also become more dynamic. - What new literary art forms has digitalization brought forth and what new research questions does it pose for literary studies? Marlene Meuer will explore these questions in her lecture.
Marlene Meuer is a literary and cultural studies scholar with a comparative focus. She is currently writing her third book on post-digital language art. In this context, she is collaborating with artists and researchers at Goldsmiths College in London and the Czech Academy of Sciences in Prague, among others. In the academic year 2023/24 she is a Junior Fellow at the Alfried Krupp Wissenschaftskolleg Greifswald.
