Eleven festival prizewinners, one project! As prizewinners in residence, the musicians of the SIGNUM saxophone quartet have invited fellow prizewinners from the Festival family to try out new things together and make music together in the most beautiful places in the country. The special thing about this family reunion: It is also a chance to get to know each other, characterized by artistic curiosity. The project gives the artists space to make music together and it will be exciting to see what kind of fireworks this encounter ignites.
On the last day of the prizewinners' week, the saxophone quartet transforms into a trio in the impressive nave of the Heiligen-Geist-Kirche Wismar: Blaž Kemperle on soprano saxophone and Guerino Bellarosa on baritone saxophone play chamber music by Francis Poulenc together with pianist Alexander Gadijev. But there will also be clarinet and string sounds on this afternoon.
